After over 360 years of service in the city of Malden, the First Church in Malden celebrated its final church service on Thanksgiving Sunday, November 20, 2016.

You are welcome to join other First Church members in attending services at Mystic Side Congregational Church, located in Everett at 422 Main Street just on the Everett/Malden line. Sunday Service is at 10:30 a.m. and parking is available. The website, for more information is: https://buyessayasap.com/

After December 9, 2016, church office staff will be working from an office at 376 Washington St. in Malden.

We are grateful for the many years of fellowship in this congregation: baptisms, marriages and funerals, confirmations and ordinations, Christmas Eves, Easter Sundays and holy days, music, teaching, youth groups, service projects and just everyday fellowship, potluck dinners and coffee hours. The church history will be celebrated and preserved, and the church's people will be found, still vital and prayerful, throughout the Malden community and beyond.

Quote of the Day

Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.
-Deuteronomy 32:2

Having lunch in a field one day, I troubled an ant with a question. I asked of him humbly, Have you ever been to Paris? And he replied, no, but I wouldnt mind going. And then the ant asked me if I had ever been to a famous ant city. And I regretted that I hadnt, and was quick to add, I wouldnt mind, too! This led to a conclusion: There is life that we do not know of. How aware are we of all consciousness in this universe? Less than that is our knowledge of God. How then can we ever argue about Him?
-Meister Eckhart

Thank You

On this day, the City of Malden thanks
THE FIRST CHURCH CONGREGATIONAL
for their many years of service to our community! Malden's motto is "Strong Past, Proud Future" and while today may be the last service in our City, the impact this church has had through many generations will last well into the future. From being the first official church and meeting place to providing over 360 years of worship, service and fellowship, First Church Congregational has been a true difference maker and will never be forgotten. Again, thank you to all those who have been part of this congregation and for making Malden the great city it is today!

GARY CHRISTENSON, Mayor

We would also like to thank our partners and talk about their services - Unfortunately, this last formal challenge becomes too problematic for many candidates. As you grow as a scientist, you also gain more other duties and responsibilities. Lots of students have to combine the dissertation tasks with the job. Or, there are numerous family responsibilities. There are various circumstances for one situation: by the time I have to write my dissertation, I might not have the resource to do it.
